About Us

Pleasant View Garden Centre was established in 1970 as a small gardening store and nursery in Chart Sutton on the outskirts of Maidstone. We are a friendly family run business who enjoy providing a warm welcome to old and new customer alike.

Over the years we have expanded and have also come to understand that customers expect more from a Garden Centre of today. Therefore located onsite we now have a ‘Tea Room & Kitchen’ currently run by ‘The Burrrow’, ‘Birchalls The Riding Shop’, supplying equestrian and pet care items, and ‘Chart Sutton Antiques Centre’ giving the customer much more of a ‘shopping experience’. We have gained an enviable reputation for quality, choice and service.

Today’s range of products reflects the demands of both the “cutting edge” and the traditional gardener. All products are carefully selected for quality, reliability and value for money. Our staff are all fully trained to offer expert, impartial advice and are always happy to help with your purchase, a tradition we are keen to continue, with knowledgeable sales staff available to answer your questions either by email or via the telephone as well as on the spot.
